Whilest Joni and I waited inside the Savemart Center for the elevators to be "open", Stephen Bradley of No Doubt walks by and stops. He's with a group that got to go to the MEET N GREET with Gwen and Akon. Lucky turds!

We finally get into the venue and to our SECOND ROW seats! The show started over an hour late!!
This dj guy opened up the show, and had the girls sing "SInce Youve Been Gone" by Kelly Clarkson.. hahha!

Akon finally came out and did his thang...

He jumped down and greeted the audience...

then got back up and sang some more...

Then he introduced some other act. It was these 2 chicks singing and they had 3 dancers. The audience was NOT feeling them.. lol. One of the dancer chicks pointed and winked at me, then waved. I was kind of looking at her like, "huuhhh??" hahaha.

Akon finally finished and the lights went out. Out of no where I can hear the crowd cheering, but there is nothing going on onstage. I finally notice spotlights and a "scene" happening on some of the steps in the audience. It was a Harajuku arrest! lol..

and the scene moved its way to the stage...

...aaaand out came Gwen in a jail cell!!

Then she threw on a cape and started singing Rich Girl. I only got a couple of pics, because I ended up recording most of the song.

After Rich Girl she performed Yummy!

Then she had a lil wardrobe change and came out and sang some more. Last year I wrote down what she sang in order.. this year my phone was almost dead and couldnt really... so I forgot what she sang.. but she sang a couple songs in this hot number...

I believe this was Luxurious. I recognize the dancers outfits...

One of the Harajuku dancers dropped her fan in her performance.. ooops! lol

Gwen's dress came undone and she pulled a girl from the audience onstage to help her reclip it.

Next she performed Wind It Up.

Poor Gwen almost fell down the steps.. didnt get that on film, dangit! lol...

After Wind it Up, she sang Hollaback Girl. Last tour she pulled people up on stage during this song.. not this year.. boo.. lol

I forgot what song this was.. eek... I suck!!

And another song.. forgot this one too... blahhh.. I know, I REALLY suck! I was just so in awe at how close we were!!!!
In this outfit, we could actually see her stretch marks from her pregnancy!! She still has a smokin body, just sayin.. THATS how close we were!!! :)

I didnt get the last few songs, because my cam died! :(

There was a little girl, third row center who was a child, Mexican clone of Gwen in the Sweet Escape vid.. Gwen saw her and had her come on stage. She was adorable!! lol

Today, I was reading how people were buying the presale tix to see Gwen. I was bummed, having to wait until Sat to order them from ticketmaster.com... but, I gave in and paid extra for presale tickets.

I snagged up 2nd row, center!!! It was SOOO worth the extra money! It was $176 for 2 tickets, Joni already paid me for her ticket. I am sooo excited!

We also get a limited edition sticker, the tickets will be printed on special material or something.. lol.. we get fun little bonuses!

I was clocking in and counting my till out as I finalized my transaction.. Once it was final, I was jumping up and down at work.. and I had this sudden burst of energy!! haha!

I remember seeing her twice last year! Once, free with Stephanie in Sac(thanks girl, that was SOOO fun!!! even though we got lost and missed BEP! hahaha!) and again on a last minute splurge in Fresno with Reggie! Both times I was in the upper section, its going to be SO amazing being SOO freakin close!! :)

My mom bought the plane tickets last night! We're going for sure! Im glad I didnt have to buy my own ticket like I thought.. but this means I dont get to go to Philly :(

I need to go to the doc.. I will not survive the 38479q2385 plane rides w/out and anit-anxiety! we're switching planes at least 3 times each trip.. but we're leaving modesto airport and going into pitts airport.. no long/lame driving...

I worked in the Oakdale store tonight.. I had just gone in to get a green tea.. and left my number incase they needed shifts covered in the future.. and when I got home they called me.. It was pretty slow, they said it was more slow than usual. I wonder what their tips are like? hmmm... anyhow.. this just means more money for shopping and my trip! :)

I dont think Im going to Hawaii now. Its going to be too short notice for work. We dont know the dates theyre fixing the house.. I am probably going to just ask for a few days off and go to LA.. I miss Lacy and Geneva! I gotta see my girrrls!

A Day at San Fransisco & A Six Hour Journey Home

Reggie and I woke up around 10am Saturday morning for our, almost spur of the moment, road trip to San Fran.

I didnt feel like driving around SF and trying to find parking and all that jazz, so we decided to take Bart. We arrive in SF and begin our pointless shopping spree. As we were walking, random people were speaking random nonsense to us. But none so bazzar as this one guy. He goes up to Reggie and says "pink is my favorite color! can I take your picture?" She looked at him like he was nuts, we hey, he was! haha! He didnt grab a camera to take her picture, no. He just put his hand up and took an imaginary picture, like this:

We went to any and every store that struck our fancy, and it was SUPER fun!! We stopped in the mall and ate some extra greasy pizza from the food court.

Behind Reggie there are 5 kids on Sidekick II's! Niiiice!! After food, we explore the many floors of the mall.

I took this from floor 2. Nordstrom took up most of the mall, and they had LAMB!!! But I resisted! After the mall we browsed other stores, including the newly added H & M store!

We took this in the panty section, oooh! It was getting late, and all the stores were closing. However, the Disney store was still open. So, we spent a hefty chunk of time in there! We left after Cinderella jumped me. I think she wanted my LAMB gear!

Ouch!

We were pretty damn hungry after all of our shopping and walking, so we grabbed a cab to peir 39 and had some grub at the Hard Rock Cafe. After that, we hoofed it back to the Bart station (yeah, that was one hell of a walk!), and in the middle of our journey it starts sprinkling. Our pants are soaked, we're tired, blisters on my feet are popping and stinging from the water (I was wearing flip flops). We cant find a single empty cab, cus we really didnt want to keep walking. But we did, and we made it to the Bart station at 11:09pm and the Bart we needed to catch arrived at 11:10pm, scorrre! We got on and hit up like 2 stops, and the guy tells everyone to unboard and catch the next Bart or Bart after. I had no clue which one we needed (I was tired and didnt pay that much attention) so, we just got on the first one. It hits a stop at San Fran airpot then says the next stop, Millbrea, will be the last stop of the night. I had no clue how far Millbrea was from Dublin. We got off, talked to the lady in the glass helper box (new name for that thingy). She informs us that there are no more Barts running for the night, and to go to In and Out across the street because they're open 24 hours. I am PISSED! We see 2 cabs sitting outside the station on our way to In and Out. I open the door to one and ask the driver how far of a drive we were from Dublin. He told me 40 miles. I was like, oh shit!! He said itll cost $120 to cab a ride there. I was like, "I DO NOT have $120" and he then offered to take me for $80. I passed. So Reggie and I walked to In and Out. I called Derek and Taneya on the walk, and asked Derek if he would be able to come get me. And being the good friend he is, he said he would! I was SOOOO greatful! But, this meant we'd have to sit inside In and Out until they (Scott drove) arrived. Reggie and I were DYING in that place!

We sat at some empty tables with our hoodies and sunglasses on (yeah, I know, it was 1am and dark). We were so tired that we were being the biggest dorks ever!! We were so desparate to get out of there, we made paper bag signs "Dublin or bust"! hahaha!!!

Its about 1:40 or so in the morning, and In and Out kicks us out! Yeah, they effin closed at 1:30 am!!! 24 hours my ass!! psh! So, we walk to the Market/Gas station across the parking lot. Yeah, they close between the hours of 1am and 4am. So, we were standing outside, freezing and shivering! They felt so bad for us inside, that they let us come in! Scott and Derek arrive shortly after 2am. We hop on the freeway and head to Dublin so I can get my car! We get there about 3am or so. I am DYING because I have to pee so bad! So, we make it to a gas station, theyre closed between 1am and 4am too! WTF?? But Scott got the lady to let me use the potty!! We leave the gas station and I need to make a U-Turn to get to where the freeway is. There was a no U-turn sign, but Derek says to just go. So, I do. Then hes yelling on the phone "Oh shit! Theres a cop right there!! I hope he didnt see you!!" At first I thought he was playing, then I saw flashing lights behind me. That bastard pulled me over, did the whole liscense and registration thing. My insurance card was expired and he told me that was like an $800 fine, but he was just gonna warn me, and not mark me for that. Then he made me get out of the car and take a sobriety test because my eyes were red. I was telling him about how we were kinda lost and how we had gotten stranded in Millbrea because Bart had us train hopping... I think he felt bad, and since I wasnt drunk even slightly (cus I had no booze in me) he let me go. So, Reggie and I hop on the freeway and head home. We got home shortly after 5am, and PASSED out!!

Ok, I wouldnt be so mad if I hadnt spent the time to write out a LONG blog and then have the "routine maint." message saying Myspace will be down from 2:15am to 5am.. and like, it was only 1:40-something am!!! I still had time left!!! I feel so robbed!!

Tonight at work I closed with Pedro and Brandon aka Barbie.. I LOVE working with Pedro, but gahh, working with Barbie is like, TORTURE!! He gets too into my bubble and brags about his "amazing" life, which is full of Prada and Gucci and Dior. Oh, and lets not forget his 500 class Mercedes, which is in the shop.. funny, its been in the shop FOREVER now!! Anyhow, we got out SUPER early! Pedro and I rocked the hizzouse!! 11:38pm.. only 2 minutes later than my record!

January 1, 2006 -LAMB scarf mission...

I spent New Years with my family this year, and some friends visiting from out of town. At about 2am, I headed over Samiras and we had a movie marathon. We woke up at around 1:30pm and I went home to get ready. I had promised Taneya that I'd spend the day with her. Since I had a scarf on hold at Nordstrom in Pleasanton, we decided to drive there together to get it. Reggie even came with us! So, we head out at around 4:30pm. We got some gas ($2.08 a gallon, scorrrre!) then some food and hopped onto 99N! The waether SUCKED, it was so rainy and extremely windy..so it took a little longer to get there. It took about an hour to get to the Pleasanton Nordies, we got there at around 6pm and people are pouring out of the mall. I tell the girls "I think the mall is closed, look at all the people coming out!" They reassure me that its probably just busy. We could NOT figure out the parking lot for the life of us! lol.. So we parked by Sears, which looked like it was the Middle of the mall, and Nordstrom was at another end. We walk up to the Sears doors and theyre locked!!! I see people coming out of a door and run over to it, the man at the door wouldnt let me in. He told me the mall was closing and no one could come in. I told him I had just drove FOREVER to get there, and was told the mall was open til 7pm. He still refused. I tell the girls, "lets go run to Nordstrom". So, in the pouring rain we ran outside of the mall all the way to Nordstrom. Poor Taneya is 7 months pregnant and starts having a small contraction!
Finally, we get to the doors of Nordstrom! They're still open, and I am VERY relieved! We go up to the next level and I get my scarf! :) I ask the lady about getting the scarf for $45, because a Nordstom in Columbus, OH was selling them for that price. Well, she tells me that if they were on sale there, theyd be on sale at EVERY store. Well, obviously the OH Nordies is going to be closed, its almost 10pm there! lol She tells me shell sell me the scarf for the original price, $98, and that I can call back in the morning, have the morning floor manager call the OH store, and if they confirm the $45 price, then theyll refund my credit card the difference. I agree, and we take off.
We didnt feel like running through the rain again, and we had remembered that Sears was still letting people out. So, we walk through the mall, find Sears, and the gates are closed!! We see two emergency exits, one which is slightly opened. We werent sure if an alarm would sound, or if it was the employee exit. We see some girls at the Starbucks in the mall closing up. We walk over, and Taneya asks the girl that is mopping if we can use the emergency exits to get out of the mall. In the middle of that conversation, the girl with the mop looks dead at me and says "OMG, I just have to tell you, that you, are awesome for wearing LAMB! I spend all my money on LAMB! I love LAMB". We start talking about LAMB and stuff, it was cute! Anyways, we discover that those doors were infact employee exits! So, we walk through, and cant find any exits! It just seems to be a long hall with doors to stores, and steps! We're getting kinda freaked out, not knowing WHERE this thing was taking us! That, and the fact there were holes and stuff in the walls!

We FINALLY found an exit door, and walk out of it. Where are we? Like, ten feet from the Nordstrom doors that we had came in through! So, we had to run back to the parking garage in the rain anyways.. lol... then we headed back home!
Heading home I totally got lost, and we somehow ended up on the I-5. I didnt realize it until I saw a sign for Patterson.. lol.. So, we exit Patterson and drive through orchards and fields and a bit of city. Taneya and Reggie are discussing "creatures" theyve seen and Saskwatch! lol.. We finally make it back onto 99 N and head to Starbucks..

...more to my day..wheel chair races in the airport, movie time...story to be continued later!...

I was beginning to think the UPS man wasnt coming, it was almsot 7pm.. and then the doorbell rings.. ♥

I cant wait until tomorrow.. Im gonna drive to Pleasanton and get a LAMB scarf! :)
